Invitation
On behalf of the organising committee of the 9th Combined Dermatology Congress of South Africa 2025 I extend a warm welcome to all delegates. The warm heart of Durban will bring together our wonderful lively dermatology community.
We are thrilled to gather a diverse community of experts, researchers, and clinicians dedicated to advancing dermatology. This congress offers a unique platform to share cutting-edge knowledge, explore the latest treatments, and network with colleagues from around the continent and the world. We are positive that the bespoke, inclusive, rich scientific programme with engaging, practical hands on workshops with live patients and the vibrant African atmosphere will provide a valuable learning experience for all participants.
Our international and national invited speakers are from diverse countries and specialities to ensure relevance and sharing of common diagnostic and therapeutic challenges in line with our theme “Diversity and Unity in Dermatology”.
The programme will focus on allergies in dermatology, vitiligo and inflammatory dermatological conditions. There will also be a dedicated dermoscopy session and dermoscopy challenge featuring the world famous Dr Konstantinos Liopyris.
In response to the problem of parallel sessions there will be a single track of sessions which will enable everyone to attend all the sessions.
We encourage delegates to actively engage in discussions, workshops, and networking events. We have a great organising team and I have no doubt that this will be a very successful congress and the collective impact on the field of dermatology will resonate and remain in your memories for years to come.
Let's embark on this journey together to shape the future of dermatology and unity in Africa and make maximum benefit from the unique combined clinical and surgical information exchange platform!
